The LA Dodgers just got eliminated in three games from the MLB playoffs. They got swept. It was an appropriate end to a season marked by shame. Due to the fact they hosted and honored the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in June, the Dodgers’ 2023 elimination takes on new meaning. Remember, the Dodgers initially invited the Sisters, then they thought better and withdrew the invite, only to cower to activists and re-invite the Sisters.
So in the end, the Dodgers chose a group dedicated to mockery of religious nuns and hatred of Catholicism over common decency and respect. Therefore, they are not an organization worthy of success and fans. And I urge all Catholic and Christian Dodgers fans to take some time and seriously consider the offense committed by celebrating and platforming the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Consider it and then maybe you’ll reconsider your support of the Dodgers.
